My approach to teaching is practical, not didactic. I have taught at a University for 4 years, but the bulk of my career has been spent working as a journalist and broadcaster. I have more than 30 years' experience in this field, and most of the best lessons I have learned have come through working at a skill, failing, and then trying again!

As a result, my teaching is based on the application of practical tasks to increase comprehension. All teaching works best if teacher and student are learning together. My lessons focus on how good English skills lead to greater opportunities in the workplace, and I hope they are fun and engaging.
