The lessons will be one hour long, consisting of individually tailored content to suit the needs of each student. Adaptable structure if the student has any requests and planned material if not. I can happily adjust my pace to suit each student.
Lesson structure will generally be teaching content and then testing with questions. I can either set or not set homework depending on what’s better for the individual.
I am friendly, and I’m comfortable and experienced talking to children.
I have previous experience as a maths tutor for multiple different age groups, as well as a volunteer teaching assistant for international students.
I got A*’s in A-level maths, further and physics. I am now studying mathematical physics at The University of Southampton on an integrated masters degree where I am averaging ~90%.
I am only in my first year, so still remember the A-level and GCSE content to a high standard.
