The content of my lessons vary depending my on the student. I have taught a variety of ages and abilities throughout my years as a teacher. However a standard lesson (after I have assed where you are at after a convosation) would consist of general exercises making use of triads, the chromatic scale and the major scale to a metronome. Then on to learning specific songs/ Genres the student is interested in and learning the fundamentals of this in a fun and engaging way! This would usually include lots of listening together and picking out certain aspects of the chosen piece to study and talk about to not just improve the students guitar ability but also increasing their excellence as a musician.
