Tolgahan Aydin

Hello, my name is Tolgahan Aydin and I am a Psychology tutor with a strong academic and teaching background. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology, and I am currently working as a research associate and doctoral researcher at the University of Tübingen in Germany. My research focuses on how people perceive, remember, and understand events, but beyond research I have always enjoyed teaching and mentoring students.

I have taught Experimental Psychology Practice at university level, where I guided psychology majors through the full process of designing and running experiments, analyzing results, and presenting their work. I have also supervised undergraduate theses, providing one-to-one support in planning, writing, and critical thinking. In addition, I have experience in academic counselling, working with teenagers preparing for university entrance exams.

My lessons are tailored to the individual needs of each student. Some students need help preparing for exams, others want to improve essay writing, and some are looking to understand key psychological theories more deeply. I adapt my explanations to your level and learning style, whether you are a secondary school student, a university student, or an adult learner.

We can cover a wide range of areas including cognitive, social, developmental, and biological psychology, as well as research methods and statistics. I also help with exam preparation, critical thinking, and study strategies.

Above all, my goal is to make psychology accessible and enjoyable, and to help you gain both confidence and knowledge in the subject, while developing lasting academic skills along the way.
