I usually start my lessons off with either a recap of a topic we have done in the past of a quick drill into seeing how much the student knows already.
For learning, I use a mix of slide-shows, comprehensions and activly engaging tasks to make sure the tutee is fully enaged, whilst encouraging questions throughout. Especially with Geogrpahy, I try relate it to the students day-to-day life (The Weather, Countries they have been to, Their friends and family social dynamics...).
After the inital learning, I like to play a fun Geogrpahy game, (to lighten the moods of extra learning!)
Then I do a quick recap of what we've learned, or if there was anything particularly challenging or requested by the student I would do it now,
Finally, I end with a Geo quiz so the student can remeber what they learnt and make learning Geo fun!
