My lessons are interesting, engaging but most importantly results driven. I have taught a wide range of nationalities and ages as a tutor both in Cambridge and internaionally. From basic communication skills in English to achieving an impressive IELTS 9, I am very confident in my ability to get you the results that you need. We are likely to cover all 4 skills in an integrated way, allowing you to develop the tools that you need for your own particular requirements. As such, my teaching is highly individualised and very student centred. Blending traditional methods with more communicative ones it is a recipe that is a successful one. Before any 'teaching' begins, I would need to assess you and discuss your own targets, as these obviously range from one learner to another. A one hour lesson may have a number of different components and, in keeping with best practice, I would state my Learning Objectives, at the beginning of each class. Towards the end of the class, I would revisit these objectives to see that progress has been made.

Lessons could include dictogloss, drilling, gap fills, explicit grammar explanations, games, memory enhancing techniques, blended learning and much, much more - integrating, as required, all 4 Language skills. Importantly they would be enjoyable, well structured and meet your aims and expectations. You will succeed. My own expectation from you, as the student, is to do any homework set, arrive on line punctually and commit thoroughly to the lesson that we have together.
