Tilly Bowden

My name is Tilly and I am currently in Year 13 at Putney High School studying biology, chemistry and maths. My lessons are student-centred, with teaching and learning that is adapted to the best style for you. I hope to help as many students as possible to feel more confident about their subjects through careful explanation and practice. I am passionate about science and maths subjects, and I am also able to help with tutoring for the UCAT and BMAT medical school entrance exams. Having recently been through the medical school entrance process myself I know that it is extremely tough, but I want to help share some tips and tricks which I found very useful in helping me receive medical school offers. I hope that students who I tutor will feel inspired and leave the lessons eager to put their knowledge into practice in the classroom at school. I have previous experience running GCSE clinics at my school and tutoring younger students in maths. This has helped me understand the best ways to help others with their learning and has taught me leadership, organisation and patience. I am really excited to start this tutoring journey and get to know lots of you!
