I am a dedicated and reliable tutor who takes pride in delivering high-quality, well-structured lessons tailored to each student’s needs. As a current Year 12 student achieving top grades, I bring not only strong subject knowledge but also a clear understanding of the current curriculum and exam expectations.
My approach to tutoring is student-centred, supportive and focused on building both understanding and confidence. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual’s pace, strengths and areas for improvement.

I focus on breaking down complex scientific and mathematical concepts into clear, manageable steps, using real-life examples and visual explanations where possible. I also encourage active learning through questioning, practice questions and regular feedback, helping students to develop strong problem-solving skills and exam techniques rather than just memorising content.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although shorter or longer sessions can be arranged if needed. Lessons are usually structured with a quick review of previous material, followed by teaching new content, and then applying knowledge through practice questions to reinforce understanding.

As a Year 12 student studying Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry, and having achieved multiple Grade 9s at GCSE, I have a strong and up-to-date understanding of the curriculum. In addition, my experience as a literacy mentor, classroom assistant and school prefect has helped me develop the communication, patience and adaptability needed to support younger learners effectively.

My lessons are ideal for primary school students and lower to mid-level secondary students (up to GCSE level) who want to strengthen their understanding, improve their confidence, and build a solid foundation in Maths and Science.
