I recently completed A-Level exams in Maths, Economics and Physics.
I achieved a Grade 9 in mathematics in my GCSEs and have a good knowledge of mathematical concepts up to the A-Level standard. In sixth form I was a maths ambassador - this required me to give support to students in the younger years who were struggling with maths. I successfully helped these students achieve higher grades.

To begin with, I like to assess the student and evaluate their strengths and weaknesses. Then for the following sessions I will go over the topics of weakness and bridge any gaps in their knowledge ensuring the student fully understands the concept before the end of the session. I will then set some work related to that topic so that the student gets some practice (as practice is one of the main tools for success in mathematics).

For Students in Primary school:
I will go over content needed to prepare for 11 Plus exams, making sessions as interactive and lively as possible.

For Secondary School Students:
I will be preparing the student for GCSE maths, setting more questions at the end of each sessions to allow the student to gain more practice of new concepts or to better their understanding of concepts they are familiar with.

My aim is to assist primary school and secondary school students through their Maths journey and give them the support and advise I wish I had. I want my students to never dread a maths test ever again!
