Hello! I am here to help you with all your English Troubles, or to help you achieve the best grades I know you are capable of!

To start with, I mostly use PowerPoint or Canva, this way I can send you the slides you need, and you don't have to worry about missing anything. I also use dyslexia-friendly fonts and can adapt all my work to fit you personally. I want to make sure I can help you understand in a way that suits you, so any hobbies, ideas or things you enjoy will be brought to life in my lessons!

I also work in a school, so I know how challenging it is to get everything right and feel confident. I will help you with all of that as well.

In my lessons, I will help you read, understand, and analyse novels, plays and short stories, and we can focus on the same stories you are currently reading, so you will know how to gain extra understanding and impress your teacher! We will look at creative pieces, from writing a spooky story to discussing whether you think all children should wear uniforms. All subjects and ideas are valid. For BGE, I will also look at comprehension and how we can develop the skills needed for exams in the later years.
If you are looking for revision for exams, I can also help with that. Whether it is quote memorisation for Tally's Blood or linking two of the Scottish Poems together, I will make a lesson plan to focus on all the aspects and skills for the literature and language papers, as well as how to get full marks in the RUAE papers.

And for the parents, I know you want what's best for your child and to support them in getting the best grades they can and understanding English so they can soar in the future. I would like to assure you that I want that too. My biggest passion is helping my students learn and seeing their faces light up when they finally get something they struggled with right, or get the grade they've been trying so hard to achieve. It is an amazing feeling to help them and see their confidence grow, and I know I can help them do these things.
