I am an experienced and dedicated Maths tutor specialising in 11+, KS3 and GCSE Maths. My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, learning style and academic goals, ensuring they receive the support and challenge required to make excellent progress.

Lessons are delivered online via Zoom in a friendly, engaging and structured environment. I begin by identifying a student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then create personalised lesson plans that focus on building a strong understanding of key mathematical concepts. Each lesson combines clear explanations, worked examples, guided practice and independent problem-solving to help students develop both confidence and mathematical reasoning skills.

For students preparing for the 11+ or GCSE examinations, I place a strong emphasis on exam technique, time management and tackling exam-style questions. Regular assessments and progress reviews allow me to monitor improvement and adapt lessons accordingly. I also provide constructive feedback and recommendations so students know exactly what they need to focus on between lessons.

My teaching approach is patient, supportive and encouraging. I believe that every student can succeed in Maths when concepts are explained clearly and lessons are adapted to their individual pace. I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing confidence in their abilities.
