I have achieved A*A*A* in A level Maths-Further Maths-Physics in A level exams in June 2022. Now I'm a first year BSc Computer Science student at the University of Warwick. I always emphasize students' thorough understanding in concepts and knowledge memorisation in my tutoring methodology. The former can be achieved by me asking real-life problems relating to a specific Maths topic at the beginning of lessons to attract students' interest. During the lessons, I will use my understanding in the relevant topics to explain terminologies in detailed to ensure my students absorb the definitions inside out and they can re-explain themselves from scratch. Furthermore, I will try to derive the proof in a simple way so that my students can understand and derive themselves, thus their knowledge is consolidated. The second key point in my teaching can be achieved by me setting practice questions in several levels of difficulty at the end of the lessons. I will let my students attempt as much as they can and I will guide them through difficult questions by hints or by opening questions because to me, practicing is extremely crucial. I will also set some homework for students to solidify their learned materials and there will be small reminding quiz at the beginning of the next lesson. Every chapter, I will make a chapter summary test for students to do to check their understanding.
