I am a second-year Physics with Nuclear Technology student at Nottingham Trent University and an Associate Member of the Institute of Physics. I hold proven theoretical and practical proficiency in both Physics and Mathematics.

Here are a few highlights from my academic journey so far:

Top Academic Performance: Achieved First-Class marks across my first-year modules in Mathematics, Properties of Matter, Instrumentation & Physics Skills, and Coding, alongside Upper Second-Class performance in Classical and Quantum Mechanics.

Practical Research & Analysis: Calculated the distribution of Americium-241 and Caesium-137 isotopes in real soil samples from Chernobyl.

Advanced Problem-Solving & Coding: Modelled complex physical systems in Python, including solving second-order differential equations for pendulum motion using numerical methods.

Lesson Format

Throughout my studies, I've learned one key lesson: everyone learns differently. If information isn't delivered in a way that matches how your brain works, it won't stick, especially in subjects like Physics and Maths.

This is why my lessons will be tailored around you. The first thing I will ask is which parts of Physics or Maths you find most challenging so that we can prioritise them. Then I can get to work preparing lessons. After that, we can get started with lessons using this default structure:

Theory: We cover core concepts, prioritising the specific topics where you need the most support.

Practice: We tackle targeted exam-style questions to translate those ideas into practical exam confidence.

Review: We identify key takeaways and areas to improve for next time. We move at your pace, with no stress.

This approach will then be developed further as I begin to understand what works best for you. Maybe you need longer and more in-depth explanations of theory, or you may prefer to work things out through by attempting more questions. This allows you to fully understand the topics, as everyone learns differently.
