I teach using everyday procedures/circumstances as practical illustration. I also used video when possible because I belive that a visual presentation is impressed longer on human brain.

For mathematics, I teach starting from the basic principles of a given topic and also involving the explanation on the application of the topic to everyday life. I tried to make the topics enjoyable through counselling on techniques that can be used to understand mathematics easily.
For Management or engineering economics, I create questions involving practical economic situation for better understanding of the topic.

My first lecture on a topic is firstly to make the trainee see the reason for the topic. For me, I see no reason to study what I dont know the uses. I believe it may be so for everyone. So it is important for me to make students/traineee see the usefulness of a given topic before teaching the topic.

As a traineed engineer, I also teach Chemical and Petroleum Engineering topics. I love to teach so as to remain bothe relevant and active.
