I value every child as an individual, I aim to give my students many learning opportunities as possible and experiences in order to engage, motivate and prepare them for future life. I am strongly passionate about including everyone by creating opportunities for all students to learn in a variety of ways. To achieve this, I make sure that I manage and use my instructional resources effectively and make certain that all pupils make good progress.
I have had the opportunity to teach a diverse group of students in an inclusive setting, which included special needs pupil's and as a result, I developed highly effective teaching strategies which allowed me to incorporate learner centred methods.
I believe that learning environment should be enjoyable and organised, it must provide equal opportunities to to all pupils to access resources and the curriculum. I feel its important to make learning interesting and creative and one way to achieve this is through the use of student-centred methods of teaching where pupils are actively involved in the process I.e. discussion, demonstration, question and answer and discovery.
