As a student (during my ICSE) I struggled with maths and physics. I had a private tutor who taught me maths in a such a way that it boosted my confidence, and I scored 82/100 in both the subjects. It also gave me the courage to choose aeronautical engineering which is heavily based on these two subjects. Later, I taught maths and physics to students from different grades in a simplified way. Through these experiences I learnt how to identify a specific teaching pattern depending on the level of understanding of a particular student so that I could tailor my explanations accordingly.
