I am extremely passionate to teach and being able to truly motivate students in performing well. I have a warm and enthusiastic personality which I believe allows me to maintain a positive and reassuring classroom presence. I also believe my interpersonal skills are excellent and I have varying experiences meeting the needs of different individuals’ communication requirements. I can work collaboratively with parents, allowing me to implement the most effective teaching practices.

I have experience working as an ESL teacher in South Korea with children aged 5-12. The foundation of my job role was to develop students’ English abilities through reading and speech. My responsibilities also included creative writing, arts and grammar. I planned and prepared my classes that met the different needs of all age groups. I also have experience performing oral speaking examinations and providing feedback for students and parents in the form of written reports every semester.

Working as an ESL teacher I tailored lesson plans immaculately for each age group and English fluency level. I found great joy in creating a fun and enjoyable learning environment for the students to build their skill sets. I also found it incredibly rewarding watching the students flourish academically. I also learnt how to perfect my classroom management skills and I am confidently able to deliver classes of the highest standard whilst supporting children in achieving their learning goals and needs. I learnt the importance of inspiring intrinsic motivation within students by providing activities that were challenging yet achievable, students found this incredibly rewarding.
