I have just completed my three years of training to be a teacher and in that time I learnt many different ways to teach. For the students I help I will use strategies that will help them and I may change the strategies I use depending on what is best for the student. That also comes into account for the lessons, the dynamics of the lesson may change depending on the student. I like to keep my lessons semi formal and an environment that students are able to ask questions and not fear that the question is dumb. My aim is to help you to understand what you are struggling with so that you feel better about what you are learning and gain the understanding you need. I will base my lessons of what will be taught and who I will teach it to. I like to have my lessons as a space for discussion as discussion helps people to understand better and it can sometimes help someone understand something on their own because they have discussed it and through speaking aloud they can finally now understand. I like my students to come to my lessons with questions about the work they are learning so that they have an idea of what they do not understand and that makes it better for the lesson as I am able to help answer those questions or show the student how to answer the question. I want the space to be a safe space for my students to ask any questions that will help them understand their work.
