As a tutor, I tend to use personalized learning.This means I look at what my student needs , I adapt how I teach and help them build confidence.
I don't teach the exact same way to all of my students . First i find out how my students learns best then i create custom learning plans for each student.
I don't give my students answers I ask them guiding questions and this helps them think for themselves .It helps me understand them better.
Usually, I make my tutoring space safe and fun since learning new things can be hard.I always ensure that my students don't feel scared to be wrong where I help them see that mistakes are a way of learning.
I connect what my students are learning to real life to make the subject feel useful and exciting since school books can sometimes be boring .
I focus on active communication than memorization .I encourage my students to read and write from day one to build natural fluency and reduce language anxiety.
I use authentic materials to prepare students for real life conversations and exams.This makes learning functional and engaging .
I track progress across speaking , reading , listening and writing . I provide instant , constructive corrections during my sessions . This helps me identify and fix recurring errors quickly.
