I achieved an A*A*A*A in A level English literature, French, Latin and EPQ, and am currently in my second year studying French and Linguistics at the University of Oxford.
I cater lessons to meet each individuals needs - I will work with each student to figure out what learning style and approach to study works best for them. In particular, I would love to help any A Level and GCSE English Literature students approaching exam season in understanding texts, writing essays, as well as managing their revision and developing invaluable study skills, as my recent experience with the UK education system makes me particularly equipped to support students in reaching their potential and performing at their best during exams.
Other than offering support for students studying English, I can also assist students with the Oxbridge application process, as I have recent experience with both writing a successful application and the interview process, and understand how daunting this may seem to prospective applicants.
I offer a free consultation with any prospective tutees in order to gauge their needs and work out how best to support them, and from then I offer personalised study materials, in-depth discussions, and guided reading to help students engage with the texts.
Due to the structure of my university course, I write 2000 word essays weekly and therefore have significant experience in both the analysis of literary texts as well as structuring essays effectively. I also ran study sessions at my college and have experience running workshops at a local museum for children.
