As my student, I will create lessons tailored to your specific needs and help you improve your understanding of Maths. Our lessons will allow you to practice questions on certain topics you need to cover and, with consistent practice, you will definitely have more confidence in your skills as your significant improvement in this subject becomes apparent.

In the first lesson, I will provide a test for you to sit, which will include topics that you will learn or have learnt in your current year, and will mark it in order to identify your strengths and weaknesses.

In our lessons, we will:
Go through a starter task which will cover any topics from previous lessons.
I will introduce the topic of today’s lessons and explain what we will be doing.
As we go through the topic, I will provide step-by-step examples of questions included in this topic as well as provide extra needed information.
I will allow you to attempt a few questions independently and we will go through your answers.
After we finish the lesson, I will give you a worksheet of questions that will need to be completed and given back to me by the next lesson.

Every month, I will have you sit a test on all the topics we have covered in that month and mark this test in order to see what level you are currently at. I suggest that you look at sites like IXL to help you progress further outside of our lessons, however this is not compulsory.
