Context: How understanding the author’s background or historical setting can help you understand the text.
We’ll be using books like Of Mice and Men, Romeo and Juliet, or An Inspector Calls (depending on what you’re studying).
Creative Writing: How to craft interesting stories and describe scenes.
Transactional Writing: Writing for specific purposes (letters, articles, speeches).
Reading Comprehension: How to quickly identify key points in texts and respond to questions.
We'll work on building your confidence in expressing yourself clearly and persuasively.
