I aim to make Psychology both accessible and engaging by breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps. I like to use real-world examples to bring ideas to life and make them easier to understand and remember. My lessons are interactive, with plenty of opportunities to check understanding by working through examples together before moving on to exam-style questions.
For exam preparation, I take a gradual approach. We begin with shorter practice questions to build confidence and understanding, then move on to longer essay-style answers. I often provide model responses for us to analyse and improve together, so students gain a clear sense of what examiners are looking for and how to structure their own answers effectively.
I have recently graduated with a degree in Psychology and am currently studying for my Master’s. Alongside my studies, I spent a year working in a specialist SEN school, where I supported students one-to-one. This gave me valuable experience in adapting lessons to suit individual needs and in creating a patient, encouraging learning environment.
As someone who is neurodiverse, I value clarity, simplicity, and a supportive atmosphere. I know how important it is for students to feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and making mistakes as part of the learning process. My goal is to help students not only prepare well for exams but also to feel more confident in their abilities and develop a deeper understanding of Psychology.
