About me

I am writing to express my interest in a teaching role. I graduated in November 2019 from Oduduwa University with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Business Administration as the best student in the department with a CGPA of 4.73/5.0. This was made possible because of my passion for research and academic excellence.

I am writing to express my interest in a teaching role. I graduated in November 2019 from Oduduwa University with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Business Administration as the best student in the department with a CGPA of 4.73/5.0. This was made possible because of my passion for research and academic excellence.
As part of my major lifelong learning process, I am looking toward upskilling myself by working as a teaching assistant alongside studying Human Resource Development at coventryUniversity. I am one of those who believe that choosing a career path is a progressive decision. I feel that as humans, we have the creativity and capacity to accomplish much more than we do.
I began my teaching career in Tofes comprehensive secondary school, Nigeria before being accepted to the university. Thanks to the opportunity to educate and supervise students, I was able to get extensive background knowledge in administration, leadership, and people management. On several occasions, I developed connections and assisted in the maintenance of healthy relationships between students and the school administration. I was also tasked with instructing students in Economics and Information technology. My confidence and public speaking skills improved as a result of the teaching platform.
When I was accepted to Oduduwa University Ipetumodu to study Business Administration, I made plans to make a difference in my department and beyond. In my second year, I was voted as the department's academic director. I offered advice to students who were having personal, professional, or academic problems. With the approval of my association members, I was also able to organize a general tutorial for students to ace upcoming exams. The combination of

teaching whilst studying has given me both the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to hit the ground running in any future position I take up. I now have a diverse range of expertise that allows potential employers to position me in a variety of challenging situations with the confidence that I will carry out my responsibilities professionally and effectively.
On the other hand, I got the opportunity to work in a school as an HR officer and subject teacher during the National Youth Service Corps program in Nigeria. It was a truly enlightening employment experience to be able to manage school employees and teach students. I developed lesson plans and daily classroom activities, evaluated assignments, provided fair grades and organized field trips in correlation with the curriculum of the Ministry of Education in Lagos, Nigeria.
I am interested to work as a teaching assistant because I believe it will be a great way to invest in my future. Working alongside colleagues will form part of my learning process which will project me to becoming the best version of myself.

Finally, I am certain that as a teacher, I can make a significant contribution to the school. I work well under duress and do jobs thoroughly and precisely. Some of the key strengths I can offer include: lesson planning, instructional skills, excellent communication skills, analytical skill, ability to relate, drive and determination to exceed set targets, and team spirit to actualize set goals.
I am excited to learn more about the school, its plans and objectives, and how I may contribute to its continued success. Thank you very much for your time and consideration
