My lessons are relaxed, supportive and completely tailored to the individual child. I understand that not every young person learns in the same way, particularly those with SEND, so I take time to understand their strengths, needs and interests.

Sessions are structured but flexible, with a mixture of short, achievable activities to maintain engagement and build confidence. I can support with English, maths, literacy and reading, while also developing wider skills such as independence, resilience and confidence in learning.

As an experienced SEND teacher and SENCO, I have extensive experience supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, ADHD, autism and learning difficulties. I am particularly experienced in working with pupils who may feel anxious about learning, have gaps in their education or have previously struggled to engage in a traditional classroom environment.

My priority is to build a positive relationship with each student and create a space where they feel comfortable, successful and able to make progress at their own pace.
