I am a UK-qualified English teacher, trained at UCL, with an NPQ in Literacy and extensive experience teaching and tutoring students across KS2–KS4 within the British curriculum. My teaching is rooted in strong subject knowledge, clear structure, and a deep understanding of how students develop literacy skills over time.

My lessons are carefully planned and diagnostic-led. I begin by identifying gaps in reading, writing, vocabulary, or exam technique, and then tailor sessions to address these areas directly. For younger students, lessons focus on building secure foundations in reading comprehension, sentence structure, grammar, and vocabulary, using clear modelling and guided practice to build confidence and independence.

For GCSE and IGCSE students, I provide targeted exam preparation with a strong emphasis on understanding exam requirements, planning effective responses, and writing clear, analytical paragraphs. I teach students how to approach questions methodically, select and embed evidence effectively, and develop high-quality explanations. I have a proven track record of supporting students to achieve top grades, including Grade 9s at GCSE.

My teaching style is calm, supportive, and purposeful. I set high expectations while ensuring students feel confident to ask questions and take risks in their learning. Lessons are interactive and structured, with clear objectives and measurable progress over time.

All sessions are delivered online and are suitable for UK-based and international students following the British curriculum.
