My lessons are designed to be clear, interactive, and centred around the student's individual needs. I don't believe in simply explaining a topic and then giving a student a long list of questions to complete. I want to understand where the difficulty is, work through it together, and gradually build the student's confidence.

At the beginning of a lesson, I usually identify what the student already understands and where they are getting stuck. From there, I break the topic down into smaller steps, explain the underlying idea clearly, and work through examples with the student. I then give them opportunities to apply what they have learned themselves, stepping in with guidance when needed.

I encourage students to ask questions and, importantly, to explain their thinking. This helps me identify misunderstandings that might otherwise go unnoticed and helps the student develop the ability to solve problems independently rather than relying on memorised procedures.

I also adapt my lessons to the student's goals. For example, we might focus on strengthening weak areas, working through challenging topics, preparing for an upcoming exam, practising exam-style questions, or developing a stronger foundation in Mathematics.

I have over 5 years of experience teaching Mathematics to primary, secondary, and college students, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics. This has given me experience working with students at different levels and with different learning styles.

My aim is for every lesson to leave the student with more than just a set of questions they can answer. I want them to leave understanding why the mathematics works and feeling more confident about tackling the next problem on their own.
