I prefer to tailor according to the student's needs and create a fun and dynamic atmosphere to improve my learners experience.
I enjoy interactive types of lessons, using different styles of teaching to enable the student to find the best way to learn during this learning journey.
I like utilising different materials and resources, and choosing topics that students prefer, to enhance their enthusiasm. Some of the tools I enjoy experimenting with students are music/ song lyrics, role plays, movie clips, short stories and videos, newspapers, magazines, novels and books.
I previously have worked with SEND young adults (Autism, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, ADHD and ADD, Dysgraphia, ODD) therefore I am confident in working with learners who require different styles of teaching.
I also have experience working with young learners with behaviour management, so I would be happy to teach all types of learners.
I am an enthusiastic and dynamic professional who believes teaching is only one part of the learning experience; lessons should be enjoyable and interesting for learners. The student should be the centre of the experience and this is way I prefer to tailor and shape my lessons according to the learners needs. Creating a good relationship of trust and respect with my students is essential to their learning journey and crucial to provide them with the best experience possible during this fun and exciting part of their life.
