My lessons are structured yet flexible, designed to meet each student’s individual goals and learning style. Teaching online has allowed me to develop an approach that prioritises clarity, interaction, and connection, even in a virtual setting. I aim to create a welcoming and supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions, expressing doubts, and engaging in meaningful discussion. Sessions usually combine clear explanations of key concepts in the Social Sciences with guided reading, discussion, and practical examples drawn from contemporary social issues. Depending on the student’s needs, lessons may focus on understanding theoretical frameworks, analysing academic texts, or developing research and academic writing skills. I often use shared documents, short presentations, and collaborative exercises to encourage active participation and critical thinking.
My academic background in Social Sciences, along with experience in teaching and research, has shaped a reflective and student-centred teaching style. I have worked with students from diverse social, cultural, and educational backgrounds, which has reinforced the importance of adaptability and empathy in the learning process. I strongly believe that learning is most effective when students feel respected and encouraged to think independently. Rather than simply delivering content, I focus on helping students build confidence, ask better questions, and develop analytical tools they can apply beyond the classroom. My goal is to support students not only in achieving academic success, but also in developing a deeper understanding of social realities and their own learning journey. I warmly invite students who are curious, motivated, or simply seeking guidance to join my lessons and explore the social sciences in a thoughtful, supportive, and engaging learning environment. :)
