I am a Year 13 student, currently taking my A-levels in Maths, Psychology and Economics (A*A*A). I hope to study Economics and Finance at university, in September of this year. I have also completed an Extended Project Qualification alongside my A-levels, which studied socioeconomic status as a variable in determining juvenile delinquency - a fascinating subject area that combined my academic interests.

Since GCSE’s, I have maintained my creative passions as well, particularly Art, which I did start with as a fourth A-level. Achieving full-marks in my Art GCSE and tutoring with coursework this year has affirmed my ability to help students taking this subject. When I tutor Art, lessons are heavily led by discussion and gaining insight to what a student wants to pursue in their final project. This helps me to guide their creative journey and offer potential pathways to take; including artist and medium suggestions catered to each step of coursework experimentation.

Furthermore, I have been privately tutoring Maths at 11 plus to GCSE level for the past year, via online lessons. My lessons are engaging and individually tailored to each student based on any topics they might struggle with, as well as strengthening core mathematic skills required for the entire course. A key part of lessons is discussion, in order to establish understanding about various concepts because having this will enable students to apply their knowledge to any exam question that may come up. Additionally, putting new understanding into practice is equally important, therefore I like to set homework’s after a lesson to go through in the following one.
