One important aspect of my teaching approach is the integration of Vygotsky's scaffolding technique, supported by the concept of the More Knowledgeable Other (MKO), along with positive psychology principles. I recognize the significance of providing appropriate support, guidance, and positive reinforcement to facilitate students' learning journeys and promote their overall well-being.

Within the framework of Vygotsky's scaffolding, I act as an MKO, an individual with more knowledge or experience, to support students in their learning process. I assess their prior knowledge and skills, identify their zone of proximal development (ZPD), and strategically provide guidance and assistance to help them bridge the gap between their current abilities and the desired learning outcomes.

I employ various scaffolding techniques to ensure students' understanding and mastery of concepts. I break down complex ideas into manageable steps, utilize visual aids, provide clear explanations, and offer examples that illustrate the application of knowledge. By doing so, I offer the necessary support to enable students to comprehend and engage with challenging material effectively.
