I am a dedicated and supportive educator with experience working as a supply teacher across primary year groups, including EYFS, KS1 and KS2. I have worked with a wide range of pupils, including those who need additional support with confidence, engagement, and emotional wellbeing.

My lessons are calm, structured, and tailored to each child’s individual needs. I understand that every child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit them—whether that’s using visual aids, step-by-step explanations, or breaking learning into smaller, manageable steps to build confidence.

I place a strong focus on creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where children feel comfortable to make mistakes and ask questions. This is especially important for pupils who may feel anxious or unsure about their abilities. I aim to build both academic skills and self-confidence through consistent praise, patience, and clear guidance.

In terms of lesson structure, I typically begin with a short recap or warm-up activity, followed by focused teaching on a specific topic, and then guided practice where I support the child closely. I finish with independent work or a short review to reinforce learning and celebrate progress.

I have experience supporting core subjects such as Maths, English (including phonics, reading, and SPaG), and I am confident in helping pupils prepare for SATs or build strong foundational skills.

Overall, my goal is to make learning feel achievable, engaging, and supportive for every child.
