My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. I begin with a short diagnostic or recap to identify strengths, gaps, and exam requirements, followed by clear explanations of key concepts using visuals, real-life examples, and step-by-step breakdowns—especially helpful for complex science topics.
Lessons are interactive and student-centred, whether online or in person. I use questioning, guided practice, exam-style problems, and active recall techniques to reinforce understanding. For GCSE, A-level, and university science students, sessions are aligned closely with the syllabus and assessment criteria, with a strong focus on exam technique, application of knowledge, and confidence building.
I adapt my teaching for different abilities, including SEN and EAL learners, by using simplified language, visual aids, structured routines, and flexible pacing. Online lessons make use of digital tools such as screen sharing, quizzes, and annotated notes to keep students fully engaged.
With extensive experience teaching across primary, secondary, and higher education, I create a supportive, motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making progress, and achieving their academic potential.
