My lessons are structured, personalised, and focused on building both understanding and confidence. I usually start by identifying any gaps in knowledge and then tailor each session to suit the student’s learning style and pace. Whether we're reviewing classwork, preparing for exams, or tackling specific problem areas, I make sure students always leave the lesson having made real progress.

I often begin with a quick recap or warm-up to reinforce key concepts, followed by guided examples and independent practice. I explain each step clearly, using simple language and real-life applications to make abstract ideas easier to grasp — especially in topics like algebra, percentages, forces, or electricity. I regularly check for understanding and adapt my approach based on how the student responds and learns.

Over the years, I’ve worked with students of all abilities, including those struggling to pass and those aiming for top grades. I’ve taught GCSE Maths (Foundation and Higher), Edexcel and AQA Science, and supported BTEC students with coursework understanding and exam preparation. I also help students develop effective revision strategies, exam technique, and confidence in problem-solving. My experience includes both one-to-one lessons and small group teaching, online and in person.
