Sybil Osei

Hi, I'm Sybil. I'm currently at King's College London studying History.

I'm a caring, patient and thoughtful A-level psychology tutor who carefully plans out lessons to turn your weaknesses into strengths. I'm very collaborative with my students and believe your input is essential to your confidence within the subject.

I like to teach using presentations that focus on the topic at hand, past papers, interactive quizzes, real-life examples and visual and auditory aids to make learning more digestible and easier to understand.

I believe assessing progress is key to a student's success, and so throughout sessions, I will provide feedback on test answers and track the student's improvements to show linear progress.

Every lesson with me will be focused on a particular area the student needs support in, and clear learning objectives will be outlined to ensure that the student, by the end of the session, feels more secure around the topic.

At the end of the day, I believe having a collaborative, supportive, and safe space to learn and develop is the key to gaining top grades in A-levels, where content can feel overwhelming and stressful.

From teaching myself from a grade D to becoming the highest achieving psychology student in my Cohort, I understand the shortcomings that can stop you from obtaining the grades you deserve, and I've been in your position before to help you overcome these difficulties.

From lesson one until the end, I will be giving you all the tips and tricks to ace your exams!
