My Maths lessons are structured, supportive, and designed to help students feel confident and motivated. Each lesson begins with a short review of previous work or a quick diagnostic check to understand the student’s current level and areas that need improvement. I then introduce new topics step by step, breaking down complex ideas into simple, manageable parts so they are easy to understand.

My Maths lessons are structured, supportive, and designed to help students feel confident and motivated. Each lesson begins with a short review of previous work or a quick diagnostic check to understand the student’s current level and areas that need improvement. I then introduce new topics step by step, breaking down complex ideas into simple, manageable parts so they are easy to understand.

Lessons are interactive rather than lecture-based. I encourage students to ask questions, explain their thinking, and work through examples with me. We practise together using guided examples before moving on to independent questions, ensuring the student fully understands the method and reasoning. I also include exam-style questions where appropriate to help students become familiar with assessments and improve their problem-solving skills.

The content of my lessons is always tailored to the student’s needs and goals. Whether a student needs help strengthening basic foundations, catching up on missed topics, or preparing for exams, I adapt the pace and approach accordingly. I use clear explanations, worked examples, and practical techniques to help students remember methods and apply them correctly.

I have experience working with students of different abilities and learning styles, including those who struggle with confidence in Maths. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and positive. I focus on building understanding rather than memorisation, helping students develop logical thinking and independence.

Overall, my lessons aim to make Maths less stressful and more approachable, while steadily improving accuracy, confidence, and performance over time.
