Greetings Dear Students!
Through my classes, I want you to be inspired and to reveal your full potential! I want you to tell me what you expect from our classes and your favorite pop-culture references including TV shows, music and film. We can go through these together and extract idioms, popular pharses and examine the way these work in real life! The animated shows I would like to work with are Evil Con Carne, My Gym Partner's a Monkey,Peppa Pig and Lilo and Stitch for the little ones and Daria for teenagers and young adults! Ofcourse, we'll work on building up your grammar, your vocabulary and conversational skills! Furthermore, I think it's paramount to work with different articles from magazines that correspond to your level of proficiency!
My experience consists of working with 6 year old children where we introduced animated shows, drew and sang! My work with intermediate students included reading different articles about cultures and the world and doing listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing and vocabulary exercises ! Here we can utilize articles from the Telegraph, the Guardian and whatever news outlet suits your needs! We can listen to news reports, culture initiatives and much more! Come to think of it, our conversations can turn into cultural events where we exchange knowledge on accents, beliefs and identities! So, come with me on this adventure of a lifetime! I guarantee that with my help and your persistence, we can achieve everything you set out for!
