I am a warm and friendly teacher who believes in a supportive approach with high expectations for what can be achieved. Private tuition is the fastest way for students to make huge amounts of progress in a short space of time.

Sessions are in my home or online and focus on personalised learning that adapts to the child’s needs. Tuition is £60 an hour for primary, 11+ and early secondary, and £65 an hour for GCSE level.

My own education includes an English Literature degree from University of Cambridge and over 20 years of teaching in both state and private schools and teaching children from Year 3 to Year 9.

I have an exceptionally high rate of success and provide high quality tuition for both short and long-term support. Be it the focus of an extrakce exam or the long-term need of a child who needs to consolidate their school-learning, I can tailor tuition to suit your needs.

All tuition begins with an assessment in your home so you are able to meet me, and your child can ensure they are comfortable with me before sessions begin. Tuition is usually weekly for an hour or two hours, and can involve the option of homework being set.

Tuition can be on a weekday evening or on a weekend, depending on availability and the age of your child.
