My lessons are personalised to each student, beginning with an assessment of their strengths and areas for improvement. I design bespoke activities that include retrieval practice to strengthen memory, targeted knowledge building, and skill development in areas such as map reading, interpreting graphs, and analysing data. Alongside this, I focus heavily on exam preparation, teaching students how to break down questions, structure responses, and apply key terminology effectively.

I model each task step by step, so students have a clear example and pathway to follow. For example, when tackling a case study, I’ll demonstrate how to select relevant details, organise ideas, and link them back to the exam question before guiding the student to try it themselves. This approach builds both confidence and exam literacy, helping students to become more independent and achieve stronger results.
