Sunehar Aneja

I am a first year international student studying a Bachelor of Arts degree at University of Warwick. I am currently enrolled in an English Literature and Creative Writing course and work with the SCAPVC department. As a tutor, I understand that I prefer to curate material tailored to a student's personal learning style. I also understand that being a tutor requires a lot of time and effort, both of which I am ready to invest and ensure that a student's time and effort and utilized to the greatest potential.
I have volunteering experience specifically in teaching English to underprivileged students in India. I participated in an internship with Team Everest (a youth run non-governmental organization). During my internship, I developed a curriculum for students of ages 10-12. I developed separate copies for teachers to use as manuals and for students to use as homework exercises to help improve their writing and reading skills. Other than that, I have also worked with my high school counsellor to help my juniors with their university applications and so I have experience working with students in the age bracket of 15-17 years.
I am a quick learner and I can assure you that I will be able to pick up on any technical knowledge about the coursework easily and efficiently. My current university course has also helped me understand how students are expected to write and read for high school courses. Having worked with students in the past has also trained me to be able to adapt to different learning styles that students have smoothly and productively. I am determined to help out and can assure you that I’m willing to put in the time and effort required to work with students.
