My Mandarin lessons are practical, engaging, and personalized to each student’s needs. Whether you are a complete beginner, preparing for GCSE Chinese or HSK, or simply looking to become more confident in everyday Mandarin, I will tailor each lesson to your level, goals, and interests.

Lessons are delivered online and can include a balanced combination of conversation practice, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, and writing. I encourage students to use Mandarin actively rather than simply memorizing words and grammar rules. We will work through realistic situations and topics that are relevant to your daily life, studies, or personal interests.

For younger learners, I use age-appropriate activities, games, stories, and cultural topics to make Chinese enjoyable and memorable. For teenagers and adults, I can provide more structured lessons focused on communication, academic progress, exam preparation, or specific areas they would like to improve.

I have taught Mandarin to students from different countries and age groups in China, the Philippines, and Antigua and Barbuda. I understand that every learner progresses differently, so I provide clear explanations, patient guidance, regular feedback, and plenty of opportunities to practise.

My goal is to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and gradually becoming confident Mandarin speakers. I look forward to helping you make real and measurable progress in Chinese!
