I love to make my lessons as bright, fun and interactive as possible, but ensuring the full lesson objective is still being met. I enjoy starting lessons with a fun warm up, this could be an engaging game, a short story, an independent/group activity. Then onto the main part of the lesson which will be taught and tailored to those of different needs. Again using PowerPoint and smart presentations to ensure the students are involved and have a visual. Midway I will recap to ensure the students are understanding.
As A teacher I am open to trying new things myself, and I’d love to hear my students ideas on what they want in their sessions.

The end of the lesson is a wind down, making sure peers have time to chat and recap, ask me questions, and share their work if they like to.

I work to the needs of my students, if they like competition then this can be incorporated. If they prefer working for praise, this will 100% be given. And so on.
