I have taught English for 15 years in public schools in Turkey, mainly to high school students and adults. My Lessons are based on an analysis of language structure and the author's philosophical perspective. First, we read a few pages of the novel, then we analyze the language structure and grasp the structure of the syntax of the language. By doing this, we understand the syntax of the novel firmly, and after that, we discuss the main perspective of the author and discuss the perspective based on the applicability of the ideas presented by the writer of the book. Diving into the book itself, getting lost in it, and finding new learning from those experiences. Then we look back if we learned the syntax and test if we can produce the same ideas with that syntax used by the author. We do this by deleting a few words from the pages we have read and analyzed together. I aim to make the learner think and learn the ideas and syntax the author used in his expression of the ideas he presents in his novel. I try to make the students express their opposing or parallel ideas to the ideas the author writes in his or her book. I prefer Richard Bach's books mainly for my teaching lessons. I prefer him because I think his imagination urges us to think and makes the learner think and learn about the language and its power.
