I am an A-Level student residing in Luton, and attending full time education in Harpenden. I am a student in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. I both tutor Maths and Science up to GCSE level and also provide Study Coaching. I have a logical and analytical mind. I look to engage a good rapport with students in order to gain that extra understanding in the tutor-student relationship, enabling better achievable results. I am a believer in the philosophy that practice does not male perfect - it makes improvement. My lessons are interactive and involve students gaining a thorough understanding of concepts, using application and active recall of knowledge to help individuals consolidate learning. I teach online and make use of free online resources which I embed within my lessons in order to aid students in their learning. I aid students in efficiently making use of such resources in order to supplement their learning in the classroom. I use subject specifications to lead the content of my lessons while teaching in a way that initiates the student to take a proactive approach to their learning, enabling them to question everything that they do not understand, laying out the basis for identifying the gaps in knowledge and helping to bridge them, in the aim of reaching the end grades and goals. I also employ a method of reverse teaching roles, which is extremely effective - in which a student is tasked with gaining a complete understanding of their learning in order to be able to teach another individual or teacher.
