My lessons are personalised, structured, and very interactive. I start by understanding your goals (exam grades, confidence, writing skills, or deeper understanding), then plan a clear pathway so you always know what we’re working towards.

Each lesson usually begins with a short check-in and a quick review of the previous topic so you feel grounded and confident. Then we move into focused teaching using examples, mini-explanations, and guided questions rather than long lectures, so you stay actively involved in the learning process. I like to break complex ideas into manageable steps and use real-life or subject-specific examples to make abstract concepts feel concrete and relevant.

You will always have space to ask questions, think aloud, and make mistakes safely. I encourage you to explain ideas back to me, because teaching something is one of the best ways to test real understanding. We often finish with a short summary, a couple of practice questions, or a small reflection task so you leave the lesson knowing exactly what you’ve learned and what to do next.

I bring experience in academic work, structured writing, and critical thinking, and I’m used to supporting students who want both good grades and genuine understanding. My style is supportive but honest: I’ll challenge you when needed, celebrate your progress, and give clear, specific feedback rather than vague comments. Over time, my aim is for you not just to succeed in this subject, but to feel more independent and confident as a learner overall.
