I have been an educator for 20 years and still get immense satisfaction helping students achieve their goals. This week has been a classic example. A former students passed their GCSE summer examinations to start an apprenticeship in September. A year later they are back to prepare for next summer's GCSE examinations at Higher Level.
Tutoring is for all ages. I have a student starting this week who is 32 needing Functional Skills maths to achieve promotion.
I have recently helped students prepare for 11+ examination, results due Mid October.
I work in a Schools , part time with one-to-one tuition Maths and English. So rewarding!

As an Educator each student has their individual needs, starting with a blank canvas to build slowly as they gain confidence. This takes time and patience observing them as they grow to enjoy their lessons. I write my own learning material to stimulate the learner whilst mindful of the national curriculum.
When approaching GCSE exams it is important to know the examination board as each have varied layout styles and learning methods. Principle boards are AQA, Edexcel, WJEC and OCR.
I work with all these to have a wide breadth of knowledge and experience.
