Steven Sunmor

Hello! I’m Steven Sunmor, a native English teacher based in London, UK. I hold a Level 5 Trinity CertTESOL (accredited by the British Council) and have spent over a decade helping students of all ages, levels, and backgrounds gain confidence and fluency in English.

Throughout my career, I’ve taught in classroom academies, corporate environments, language schools, and online platforms across the UK, Brazil, Spain, and China. Alongside my teaching background, I have a professional history in media production working with major UK broadcasters. This experience allows me to bring creative storytelling, public speaking techniques, and engaging real-world materials into every lesson.

Because I am also fluent in Brazilian Portuguese and advanced in Spanish, I deeply understand the challenges of learning a second language and can easily guide native speakers of Romance languages through common grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary hurdles.

Helping students unlock authentic communicative ability is a deeply personal mission for me. I am passionate about seeing diverse global voices thrive within the English-speaking world, sharing their unique stories, and fostering genuine cultural exchange that unites us. This passion was my primary motivation for entering the education sector—a desire to connect with individuals from all walks of life and elevate their perspectives. After over a decade of empowering learners to fulfill their linguistic potential, my dedication to learning your story remains as strong as ever. Let’s work together to achieve your goals today.
