I am a Bi-Lingual Linguistic Specialist with 6+ Years of Teaching Literature, English, IELTS to Primary, Secondary and Postsecondary students. I have developed interesting course plans to meet academic, intellectual and social needs of students. Also, I have developed and implemented interesting and interactive learning mediums to increase student understanding of the language being taught. Addtionally, I use a variety of teaching techniques to encourage students and help learn a new language. Importantly, I design lesson plans focused on age and level-appropriate material. Furthermore, I utilized data from standardized and teacher made assessments to drive instruction. Notwithstanding, I exhibit a deep and accurate understanding of subject area knowledge.

My lessons are flexible and I tailor each lesson to meet the specific need of the individual. I love using multimedia instructional materials while teaching. Moreso, I try as much as possible to create a friendly atmosphere during my lesson as I encourage my students to express themsleves freely during lessons. I employ the teacher-student interactive model while teaching as I encourage my students to reflect on the lesson contents as well as express their point of view on each topic.

Furthermore, I have tutored students in Scotland and Canada in English langauge and literary studies. Also, I have tutored a number of Nigerian students to take the International English Langauge System Testing System (IELTS) Examination. So far, my students have turned an average overall band score of 7.0. Moreso, I have tutored kids who have reading challenges to over such challenges using synthetic phonics method of teaching reading.
