My approach to teaching is 'Socratic' — I approach every lesson as a conversation, in which the student and I jointly find a solution to a problem, whether that is proving the existence of God, or shaving minutes off their essay-writing time. The first (free) lesson is a consultation to identify your goals, and discover whatever 'barrier to learning' is blocking your success. We then agree on a plan to dissolve that barrier, and a time-frame within which it can be accomplished. My goal is not to keep you as a student permanently, but to resolve as quickly as possible whatever issue stands in the way of success, and equip you with the skills to take control of your own education in the future.
