I’m a senior JavaScript developer and lecturer with extensive experience helping career changers and junior developers move from “I sort of understand this” to genuine technical confidence.

My sessions are practical, structured and collaborative. We don’t just talk about theory - we work directly in your code. Whether you’re stuck debugging, struggling with test-driven development, or unsure how to structure a React application, we break the problem down calmly and methodically.

A typical session includes:

• Clarifying the problem clearly before touching the keyboard
• Identifying the root cause rather than patching symptoms
• Improving code structure and readability
• Strengthening your understanding of core concepts such as scope, closures, state management and asynchronous behaviour
• Writing or refining tests to build confidence in your solutions

My approach is supportive but rigorous. I’ll challenge your thinking in a constructive way so that you leave with frameworks you can apply independently, not just a fixed bug.
